Julianna is a nomadic freelance illustrator and knitwear designer, currently sketching in Europe.
She’s been refining her naive illustrative style for decades, inspired by the collage of Romare Bearden, films of Fritz Lang, sculptures of Alexander Calder, medieval illumination, and 1970s folk style. Every moment is an opportunity to create something new, and Julianna sees the potential for poetry in even the smallest stone.
Julianna sells her stock illustration images and knitting patterns, but she especially loves working on commission to produce the perfect illustration for websites, zines, promotional materials, apparel, stationary, branding, book covers, and children’s book illustrations.
